If so then I’m going over a few tips that, when used effectively, can greatly increase the odds that you will win the match. These are taken from the experts in the diamond leagues and up. Let’s get into it below.

Working Together Will Help Knock Out Opponents

Usually if you both rush together, or attack together at any state in the game, you can knock an opponent out. This might be a bit risky to do early, since the other play can power level up and then come back with superior units – but it should work regardless since 2v1 is pretty easy to come out on top with.

Simultaneously attacking a player with two armies, especially ones that are compromised of different units, can easily destroy one player almost immediately. If you can flank them and attack from different points, or bolster them together, you should be good to go.

Map Control is Important In 2v2

One of the most important things you can do in 2v2 is to have map control. This means both of you should be expanding whenever it’s comfortable for you so that you can really gain a big portion of the map between your team. I think that this will greatly benefit your overall future because you will see a lot of things, and you know that you’re limiting your opponent’s capable resources.

One Rush, One Expand

Another great strategy that you can use is for one of you to attack early while the other expands quickly to get a superior army. If this works out well then your one player should be able to atl east disrupt one opponent’s economy greatly, and possibly obstruct both of your opponents’ economies (since they will help each other to defend against the rush.)
